Project Reference List....and a Note on Styles: TRANSITIONAL

Here is a list of projects I have been gathering from Blogland. They are ALL things I'd like to do.
I leave this post open as a draft and add to it whenever I see something that hits me. Then I post it when its pretty full.

What are some of your fave projects? "Someday" projects?

As I am struggling to find "my" style... I came upon this guest post from Sue at The Zhush (how cuuute is that? on this new fave blog: From the Left bank to the Left Coast (found via Design*Sponge)

I think courtesy of Sue I found a name for the style I AM loving...the one that makes my heart go piddly patter patter...COLLECTED TRANSITIONAL

as described by Sue its:
...new “collected transitional” rooms, where the only “rules” seem to be that you love each piece, that inspires me to make the whole “mix” work in my own home....

Perfect for me: I have lots of collected things...they seem so random, but they are "me": Old crates, baskets, Ball jars, old utensils, chrome lamps, crystal chandeliers, traditional furniture, wood, painted, mid-century furniture, art pottery, old china, pewter, gilt.... its positively schizo! But perhaps I can make it work....

My Def? Modern meets Traditional... Old meets New... but in a FRESH bright way......Clean but not Cold

Here are some examples:(note: all images courtesy of design*sponge and The Zhush and THIS awesome site she turned me on to: Gunklemans--except the blue dining room-sorry I forgot where its from)
