I was wandering around the 99 cent store and found these plastic coated racks, for plates I think. I had been using a cardboard box as a stand-up organizer for my cookie sheets and cooling racks, and obviously that wasn't cutting it. I had envisioned drilling holes in the cabinet and adding dowels...but that would have to wait until hubs went away for a business trip...
Sooo, although I thought my pans would be too heavy I gave it a whirl, and Ta Da! No tools, just popped it in and now its organized, I can see all my sheets, and easy to access. LOVIN it!
I think I'll get more for all my trays and platters too! Thanks for stoppin' by!!

Love this! What a great idea. I have a spot I could do this...thanks so much for this clever organizing idea. Great blog.

I think I have one of those organizers! I need to put that baby to use!
ReplyDeleteI have a similar organizer for my trays and it has been great for well over a year now. My husband even puts things away correctly in them!
ReplyDeleteI also use one of these for my trays...keeps them neat and organized (but mine didn't come from the dollar store - I say with a pout on my face)
ReplyDeleteGreat kitchen makeover , what are your plans for the ceiling lighting , maybe beadboard or tray ceiling with beams and beadboard , what fun .

Cookie sheets can be a pain to store, great idea!
ReplyDeletePlans for the ceiling is to get rid of the hideous flourescent grid--thats as far as I have gotten. I know inside its all finished off w/drywall already, so it can be a tray ceiling w/can recessed lighting/ crown molding to match the cabs? I'd love a crystally-but-mod little chandy for above the sink. Oh and a tile backsplash but I can not decide. I will save that for another post!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I sooooo need this! LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
I've looked through your blog and I really like what you did to your kitchen! Black looks so good on those cabinets. And I do love my 99 cents and Dollar tree stores too :) You can find a lot of goodies there if you just snoop around a bit and re-imagine some objects. Love the Moroccan pattern on your blog background as well :)
ReplyDeleteYou are on fire...great organizing!
ReplyDeleteLove the storage idea for the pans! I might have to try this. Thanks for sharing!
