I am doing a Sneak Peek, because, honestly, I thought I'd be done by now. I am stuck on the trim that covers the staples...I tried making matching corded trim myself, but it seems too small to cover all I need covered...so I have to find time to go to JoAnns and maybe find a natural jute-colored trim, or maybe just a plain white trim... I will have to see..
Here's where we started.....Craigslist 20.00 for the pair....
And here she is so far.......
What do you think? Do you like the white (I was vasilating between white and black, but I had so many black pieces I wanted to try something different) I will post the full story on what I did when its all done....
Make it a Great Day!!

Hi, I just saw this on Finding Fabulous. I love what you have done, and I love the white. You can double up on your trim, called double welting, if it is too narrow. You did an awesome job!
ReplyDeleteFound your blog through The Shabby Chic Cottage...so glad I did (: I LOVE the white paint and the fabric is beautiful! Lookin' good!

Thank you for all the supportive comments! It's motivating me to finish this one and its twin quickly!
ReplyDeleteI'm a black furniture person also, only because I can never get the white to look completely white or unstreaky. Looking forward to the finished product. :)
ReplyDeleteLove this chair and the fabric! What a great re-do!
