The guy at top (who was later eliminated by my boy) was found when I noticed holy leaves, little black poopies on the leaves, and tiny translucent eggs left on the leaves. They are hard to find, you really have to look closely.

I am off to Home Depot to buy some BT (Bacillus thuringiensis), the only organic product I have found that is eefective in controlling these beasts. Oh, other than this guy:

Oh man- I had a tomato hornworm problem too. I squished probably 15-20 in a week. FINALLY found one that had parasitic wasp eggs on it and left that one alone- they hatched and my hornworm problem disappeared!! Next year I'm definitely trying the BT method. Hope it helped you!!
